Dimensions Dance Center

About us

Our Mission

To provide excellence in dance training and education for students of all ages and abilities in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment.

To provide performance opportunities for these artists through concerts, educational demonstrations, workshops, and recitals.

To provide scholarships for dancers who demonstrate financial need and show a passion for the art of dance.

Our Philosophy

We believe that dance develops positive physical and mental health, respect for others, organizational skills, and self confidence, and that these benefits can be achieved in a fun, positive, and professional atmosphere.

We encourage all students to develop and foster their love for dance whether they aspire to become professionals or enjoy dance as one facet of their lives.

We provide every class with knowledgeable, experienced, and caring teachers who share our vision.

Testimonials

Hear from our families

  • Our daughter joined a toddler class at Dimensions right after her 2nd birthday. Eight years later and counting, her passion & confidence grow daily with the gentle encouragement of Sandy and the dedicated staff at DDC. Our three nieces enjoy participating in summer programs as well. The studio provides an inclusive environment, a challenging array of year-round classes with flexible scheduling, and ample opportunities to perform, rehearse new skills, and have fun. DDC is no ordinary dance studio; DDC’s scholarship fund and outreach program underpins its ultimate mission to share the joy of dance with all. Our family is grateful to have found this special place.

    The Halley Family

  • Our daughter started dancing with DDC just after turning 3 years old.  To say she enjoys it would be an understatement.  Dance day is her favorite day of the week and she runs gleefully into the class each and every time.  We noticed that her attention span in dance class is far superior to any other setting and that as she grows, being a part of DDC has helped her develop social skills, confidence, and experience true pride.  We are so grateful to Ms. Sandy and so proud to be part of the DDC family.

  • My daughter has loved dancing at Dimensions. The staff are talented, caring, and supportive. There are a variety of classes so she can try out lots of styles of dance. She has made lifelong friends and gained confidence in herself through performing. I love Dimensions' mission wanting to bring dance to all students, regardless of their financial means.

    The Crabtree Family

  • Dimensions is a really special place -- the kind of place I feel comfortable and proud that my daughters spend so many hours. Sandy's values -- of inclusion, flexibility, acceptance, and above all, the FUN of dance -- shape the environment in such positive ways. We also feel really good about Dimensions' commitment to accessibility for all, regardless of ability to pay. During our very first inquiry to Dimensions, many years ago, Sandy responded with "we'll make it work!" when I asked about a particular logistical concern I had. And she did, and it worked out better than I could have imagined. I'm so grateful we chose Dimensions!
