Garrick Johnson II

Garrick Johnson, II (G2, Mr. G) is an award-winning competition choreographer, coach, and instructor. While balancing his career as an engineer, Garrick continues to share his passion for the performing arts with the STL dance community. Garrick describes his hip hop style as multi-dimensional, incorporating elements of popping, locking, breakdancing, and house alone with traditional West African and dancehall forms. Garrick also collaborates with artists from both the IL and MO regions, providing choreography, training, and creative direction. His notable work includes choreographing for “Madagascar Jr.”, performing as an opening act for esteemed groups like Chicago Dance Crash and Las Vegas’ Michael Jackson LIVE, choreographing and performing for rising artist Daniel Allyn, and joining Kode Redd Dance Company for the upcoming season. Garrick is honored and thrilled to teach and provide choreography at Dimensions Dance Center.
